From Minnesota to Arizona, Nina has over 20 years of dynamic and exceptional experience in the behavioral health field, helping others invest in themselves. A warm, energetic, and compassionate therapist, Nina can help identify and uncover patterns that have been preventing you from feeling confident and in charge.
 
After completing her Bachelor of Science in Applied Sociology and
Corrections from Minnesota State University Mankato, she went on
to earn her Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota with
specializations in adult mental health and medical social work.
 
Nina is also a graduate from the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine, where she
pursued clinical work in pediatric oncology. Nina has dedicated years to
helping others, in private practice providing individual/group/and couples
therapy, as a Lead Therapist in inpatient and emergency psychiatric settings,
with veterans through the Veterans Health Administration, neuropsychological
evaluations and testing, and in the medical social work milieu. Nina is also an approved Clinical Supervisor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
 
Nina has helped individuals of all ages overcome barriers they have faced,
and find joy and hope in their lives and relationships. Nina specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Nina has a passion for working with complex and generational trauma, relationship dynamics, cultural identity, people impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia, and life transitions.
 
Nina provides a safe and honest space to help you heal and grow. When she
is not providing therapy,  Nina enjoys spending quality time with her daughter
and Rottweiler, traveling with her family and friends, downhill skiing, and
decompressing in the gym.
