Stephanie is a passionate mental health professional driven to improve the standard of excellence
in therapeutic services while supporting every individual in their journey to create a meaningful
life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she applies comprehensive evaluations including
culture, environment, beliefs, family structure, and faith to fully understand your unique
experience to develop specific and practical treatment goals. Stephanie is additionally a Certified
Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and she brings over 7 years experience walking alongside
individuals and families. She focuses on connection, understanding, and radical candor in her
therapy approach.

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Developmental and Family Science with a
concentration in Family and Community Health from Purdue University in Indiana, she went on
to earn her Master of Social Work with specializations in Faith-Based and Addiction Counseling
from Aurora University in Illinois. She additionally has completed an intensive 18-month
Women’s Discipleship Program with in-person seminars through Dallas Theological Seminary.
Stephanie believes education should never end in the mental health field, so she continues to stay
involved in up-to-date research, professional organizations, and provides continuing education
training to other clinical professionals in the field focused on OCD, anxiety, faith-based
counseling, and addiction.

Stephanie has worked in various treatment settings including one of the most well-known eating
disorder residential treatment centers, a multistate partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient
program, grant-funded crisis intervention services for youth, primary care mental health
integration, and private practice settings both in the secular and spiritual settings. Stephanie
provides Clinical Supervision both to mental health professionals seeking independent licensure
and to lay counselors in religious settings. Most recently, Stephanie has focused her clinical
experience on OCD in children, adolescents, and adults.

Stephanie has received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-
Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(I-CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) utilizing inhibitory retrieval. She has
additionally trained hundreds of clinicians throughout the state of Arizona in identification of
OCD and effective ERP treatment.

Stephanie is dedicated to helping every individual walk away from their experience feeling
confident, supported, and equipped with skills for the remainder of life. When not at work,
Stephanie soaks up as much time with her growing family surrounded by her 3 dogs and the
beautiful animals surrounding north Scottsdale. She is Midwestern at heart—some young clients
walk out of session saying “golly jeepers” just like her.
