Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor who brings heart, honesty, and clinical depth to every session.
She works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating OCD, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Known for her emphasis on connection and candor, Stephanie
creates therapy spaces that are supportive and practical. Her approach is personal—grounded in each client’s culture, beliefs, environment, family system, and faith—to build meaningful, individualized treatment plans.
She brings more than 7 years of clinical experience to her sessions, and is licensed in Arizona and Illinois.
Stephanie holds a B.S. in Developmental and Family Science from Purdue University, with a concentration in Family and Community Health. She earned her Master of
Social Work from Aurora University, specializing in Faith-Based and Addiction Counseling. She also completed an intensive 18-month Women’s Discipleship
Program through Dallas Theological Seminary.
Stephanie is committed to lifelong learning and engages in current research, professional organizations, and clinician training in OCD, anxiety, faith-based counseling, and addiction.
Stephanie provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals seeking licensure and to lay counselors in spiritual communities. Her current focus is working with individuals of all ages affected by OCD, using evidence-based approaches like:
Stephanie enjoys the quiet beauty of the North Scottsdale desert alongside her growing family and three beloved dogs. A proud Midwesterner, she brings infectious warmth and humor to every part of her life. The kids she treats often begin saying “golly jeepers” and “welp” just like her.
